The Fan Favorite Award is a simple poll on Straw Poll, in which the readers vote for the person they liked most from a season.
History[]
On July 19, 2016, DeviantArt user, burstflare1, started the Fan Favorite Award polls for the first fifteen seasons of Survivor Fan Characters. It concluded on August 31, 2016 with fifteen different castaways winning the title from their respective seasons.
Four more Fan Favorite Award polls would eventually be created for Survivor Fan Characters 16: Blood vs. Water on August 8, 2017, Survivor Fan Characters 17: Alola on August 1, 2018, and Survivor Fan Characters 18: Past vs. Future, Survivor Fan Characters 19: Star Allies, Survivor Fan Characters 20: Generations, and Survivor Fan Characters 21.5 - Final Mix HD Remix: Heroes vs. Villains on February 28, 2024.

Trivia[]
- Both Bonnie Quinn and Wendy have won the Fan Favorite Award multiple times.
- Both of them have also won the Fan Favorite Award of every season they've competed in.
- Bonnie is the only castaway to win the Fan Favorite Award who didn't make the merge.
- Kris has finished in second place for the Fan Favorite Award in both of her seasons.
- In both Fans vs. Canons seasons, a canon character won the Fan Favorite Award.
