|Description||A castaway is captured by the rival tribe and lives at their camp for a period of time|
|Appearances||Survivor Fan Characters|
Kidnapping is a twist that originally appeared in Survivor Fan Characters, and would later return in Survivor Fan Characters 3. This twist allows one tribe to choose a member of the opposing tribe to come back with them to their camp for a period of time.
In Survivor Fan Characters, the winning tribe of each Immunity Challenge was able to temporarily "kidnap" one member of the losing tribe. This person would spend a few days with the rival tribe at their camp, and would not have to attend Tribal Council with the rest of their tribe, effectively making them immune from being voted out. The kidnapped player would rejoin their tribe at the start of the next challenge.
The twist would later return in Survivor Fan Characters 3, where the format was slightly altered. Instead of the winning tribe being able to kidnap a member of the losing tribe, the losing tribe would select one member from the winning tribe to join them at Tribal Council. This person would be able to vote along with the tribe, and would be given individual immunity to prevent them from being voted out. Though if they wanted to, they could give up their immunity to another castaway.
- Wendy was the only female castaway from Survivor Fan Characters to be kidnapped.
- Hope was the only member of the Pambar tribe to be kidnapped.
- The Schlipa and Lockora tribes have both kidnapped exactly four castaways each.
- Exactly six players were kidnapped in both of the seasons this twist appeared in.
