Survivor Fan Characters 16: Blood vs. Water (SFC16) is the sixteenth season of Survivor Fan Characters.
This season was filmed in the Mushroom Kingdom, and features twenty castaways who were divided into two tribes of ten. Both tribes consisted of five returning players and a loved one as part of the season's titular Blood vs. Water twist. It premiered on March 10, 2017 and concluded on August 6, 2017. It ended with Doris Stagg being awarded the title of Sole Survivor in a 5-2-1 vote over Sierra Thorne and Vinnie Reid.

Twists/Changes[]
- Returning Players: This season features ten former castaways returning to compete for the title of Sole Survivor.
- Blood vs. Water: This season, each contestant competes alongside a loved one. The tribes were also divided based on the type of relationship each contestant had with their loved one. The Kinopio tribe consisted of non-biological relationships, while the Sarasa tribe consisted of biological relationships.
- Day Zero: Each pair of loved ones spent twenty-four hours in solitude together at their own remote area. This time was to be used to help both castaways plan for the game ahead.
- Hidden Immunity Idol: This season featured four total Hidden Immunity Idols. Three were hidden at each tribe camp, with another later being hidden at the merged tribe camp.
- Tribe Expansion: On Day 7, a tribe switch occurred, and with it, the introduction of a new tribe known as Galaxie.
- Tribe Switch: On Day 18, one castaway from each tribe were tasked with sorting the remaining castaways into two new tribes of five.
- Exile: For not being assigned to either tribe on Day 18, Brandi Lake was to live in exile at the abandoned campsite of the Galaxie tribe. She would later join the losing tribe of the upcoming Immunity Challenge, replacing the member they had voted out at Tribal Council.
- Early Merge: The tribes merged at the final eleven, rather than the final ten.
- Double Elimination: On Day 36, two members of the 1-UP tribe were voted out of the game.
