Survivor Fan Characters 2: Brains vs. Brawn (SFC2) is the second season of Survivor Fan Characters.

This season features two tribes of ten that were divided based on a specific trait the contestants possessed. The season premiered on March 31, 2008 and concluded on August 16, 2008. It ended with Ellise d'Torneau winning the title of Sole Survivor in a 4-3-2 vote against Jasmine and Kris.

Twists/Changes

• Expanded Cast: This is the first season to feature a cast of twenty castaways.
• Secret Partners: For the first time, not every castaway was a stranger to each other, as there were two people who've known each other prior to the game.
• Brains vs. Brawn: The castaways were initially divided into two tribes of ten, based on a quality that each castaway possessed:
  • The Caruga tribe are the "Brains." These castaways know the game of Survivor by heart, but are not as physically imposing as their rivals.
  • The La Bira tribe are the "Brawn." These castaways are physically impressive, but lack the game knowledge that their rivals possess.
• Exile Island: After a challenge, one person would be banished by the rival tribe to Exile Island, a desolate island located far away from the camps. They would remain there until the upcoming Immunity Challenge, or Tribal Council depending on the circumstances.
• Hidden Immunity Idol: This season features two Hidden Immunity Idols that were located somewhere on Exile Island. Unlike last season, these idols could not be played after the votes were read, and were good until the final five.
• Tribe Switch: On Day 14, a reconfiguration of the tribes took place. Sending some of both tribes' current members over to join the rival tribe.
• Double Tribal Council: On Day 14, the Caruga and La Bira tribes attended Tribal Council, and voted out one member each.
• Double Elimination: On Day 21, two members of the La Bira tribe were voted out of the game.
• Final Three and Expanded Jury: This season featured a group of three finalists facing a jury of nine at the Final Tribal Council. As opposed to a Final Two facing a jury of seven.
