Survivor Fan Characters 3 (SFC3), is the third season of Survivor Fan Characters. This season features two tribes of nine that were divided into men vs. women. However, on Day 2, three people from the two tribes formed a third tribe. It premiered on September 14, 2008, and concluded on January 31, 2009. It ended with an initially-tied 3-3-1 jury vote, leading to a re-vote, with Montana Raines ultimately winning 4-3-0 over Baxter and Alex.

The season is praised by fans and is often regarded as one of the early seasons of Survivor Fan Characters that still holds up exceptionally well.

Twists/ChangesEdit

  • Battle of the Sexes: The tribes were initially divided into two tribes of ten, containing all men and all women respectively. On Day 2, both tribes sent out three of their members for "unspecified duty". These six would form a new tribe that was gender-mixed.
  • Three Tribes: For the first time, the contestants are divided into three tribes of six.
  • Kidnapping: Kidnapping from Survivor Fan Characters returns, but this season the losing tribe has to kidnap someone from the winning tribe. This person receives individual immunity, and gets to vote with the losing tribe at Tribal Council.
  • Tribal Absorption: On Day 9, the three starting tribes were dissolved into only two.
